The undergraduate, graduate and research is degrees at the Programme, shall stimulate intellectual curiosity and exploration thereby encouraging the release of human potential, both cerebral and affective. Moreover, the Programme shall aspire, over time, to develop into a clearinghouse for educational research and publications.

The learner in the higher educational stream at the LGS International Degree Programme shall be encouraged to be curious about intellectual questions and the courses taught shall be designed to provide students opportunities to sift through competing perspectives of the truth thereby creating an ethos of intellectual diversity.

Higher educational design in the 21st century, must also sensitise its curriculum to re-skill for the future – as old careers and occupations disappear and new careers emerge. Thus students in the LGS higher education stream shall therefore be equipped, through reconstruction of course design, to be able to contribute to an emerging global economy, dependent on ideas.

Moreover, in a world dominated by digital forms of communications, our course designs in higher education shall equip students to develop skills in analyzing and interpreting digital data.

The International Degree Programme shall endeavour for a collaborative learning experience, which shall foster respect for diversity and allow for cooperation between people and cultures across the world.

Students shall be encouraged to be self-reliant, critical thinkers, who realize that learning is a life-long process which culminates into action, in order to benefit humanity and nurture life on our planet, in all its permutations.
